Cypress Solutions was founded with one goal in mind. To provide retail operations with the strongest systems available on the market. Like other POS resellers, we were unhappy with the with the retail POS choices available in the marketplace. Many of the systems we experimented with had database problems, support was weak, at best, and many of the developers would promise the moon and never deliver. We expanded our search overseas and found the Infinity Retail System. We thought it was too good to be true, with claims like 100% redundancy and reliable multi-site communications. We installed our first multi-site client and immediately negotiated US distribution rights! We now have over 300 Infinity POS installations with retailers including Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier, the City of Long Beach, Orange County, Ganahl Lumber Stores, Pumpkin Patch, V.Sattui Winery, Smithsonian Folklife Festival, Domaine Carneros, and Cohiba Cigar Lounges to name a few. With our direct business growing rapidly, we have added a dedicated Infinity help desk and expanded our sales and support departments. Because our management has a strong background in software development, in 2006 we decided to expand into the reseller marketplace. We are currently adding POS resellers in all areas of the country except California. We plan to continue to market Infinity directly in California, as we feel we can best serve resellers and their end users around the country by being in the same business they are, and doing the same things they do. Our knowledge of the retail market is not solely from a developer or distributor perspective, but from working day in and day out with retailers using our system.
